Similar for me, Vicky. I think talking with friends makes me feel whole and gives me a sense of perspective. So, afterwards I’m in a really good place for the writing.

And to you, Jennifer! Thank you. Yes, music helps. What type do you listen to? While writing my second novel, set in 16th-century Italy, I found it helpful to have Renaissance music in the background.
