BTW there was a comic strip in Czechoslovak 'Motor Revue' in 1933. A motorcyclist rushes in the wind and rain to the city. Is he carrying some urgent message perhaps? No, it's a lady biker - she's going to dances to-night and needs 'Lavecký's' face powder, she won't use any other brand!

She was recognised in the 1932 'Ranking of female German motorcyclists' - evaluation of the applicants' verifiable sporting achievements. Examination of the documents yielded the result that Herta Herrmann ranks first, followed by the Lore Keller-Stößer, and Hanni Köhler, in third place.
