It's all affirmative action for some of the most criminal and unqualified and also idiotic white men ever.
Trump has signed an executive order eliminating all funding for diversity and inclusion in the federal government, sending home DEI staff who will then be laid off. The historical echo for this is when Woodrow Wilson resegregated the federal government in 1913. We have reached the second nadir.

Having ordinary civil servants turn against one another is a critical aspect of the authoritarian project.

Again, the gateway is racism.
These emails, sent across agencies, compel all federal employees to snitch on any colleague whose work might have some vague DEIA inflection. Those who refuse to snitch will be disciplined.

Seems designed to put all workers who aren’t white men under a cloud of suspicion. Truly vile stuff.
The acting director of the Office of Personnel Management (the feds' H.R. department) is telling federal employees to rat out their DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility) colleagues by emailing "DEIAtruth@opm.gov."

A less tight labor market and less pressure for diversity, equity and inclusion has motivated more employers to end their remote work policies. Some are also hoping office mandates will help voluntarily reduce their head count/costs

Amazon, JPMorgan and others have been telling their employees that remote work is over. Now federal employees have been ordered to come to work in person, too.

i have to assume that “pursuing DEI efforts” means hiring anyone who isn’t a white man?
