Shopping small and with cash is one way to do that, but there are many more, like these little Woodland Friends are showing us!

Boycotts can be powerful, and I think it's equally important to think during those times about what it looks like to create systems of care to get our needs met that don't rely on the systems/organizations/businesses we're boycotting.

This piece set in the Woodland Friends world was inspired by the targeted boycott happening tomorrow, and the need to build up other systems in the absence of ones we are trying to leave behind.

in the borders: european black slugs that munch on amanita muscaria, spruce and birch that often tower over these mushies! amanita muscaria also often forms symbiotic relationships with spruce and birch which was cool to learn about!
