It’s November! Which means it’s time for the Halloween-loving and the Christmas-loving parts of my brain to really start fighting. For the Raine part of my brain, it’s an instant switch. For the Kira side it’s a bit slower, which can lead to some interesting results.

I think I need some more fall photos. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to take walks and add a few for what I have.

I know it's technically still summer, but I've definitely been in a fall mood lately. So, here's some fall photos.
Photo of a pond with trees in the background. The foreground shows still vibrantly green grass along the closer shoreline. Across the pond, trees in various colors rise up a short distance from the far shore. Green, yellow, red, and brown leaves can be seen. Some trees are bare. Next, mountains. I absolutely love seeing mountains of all types and shapes. Big or small. So of course I'm going to take pictures of them. Not all of these may technically be mountains, but I love the dramatic landscapes they create.
In the foreground is tan grass and rocks, dotted by green and brown. This falls away into a stretch of very dark green trees that eventually rise up into snow-covered mountains. The top portion shows medium blue sky with scattered clouds that gather close to the mountain tops. The sun is shining from the right, creating deep shadows on clouds, mountains, and trees. Rolling green hills dotted with groups of trees rises up into dark brown and green peaks. The greens are in a range of shades including light yellow-green, brownish-green, and medium green for the grass and foliage, then rich dark green where the trees gather. In places, the peaks rise sharply into brown, rocky cliffs. Lighter paths can be seen in the foreground and winding up towards peaks. The sky is cloudy, with dark grey clouds to the right, moving to lighter grey and then white before breaking for blue sky along the left side of the picture. A pathed road with a wire fence sits in the foreground. Beind the fence, a green field with plants stretches out for roughly half of the picture. Trees and the occasional building can be seen in the distant parts of the field. Further back, hills and peaks rise up from the landscape, fading from green to brown. The largest of the peaks sits to the left. The sun creates dramatic shadows on the field and the right side of the hills and peaks. Most of the sky is filled with white clouds, but some blue sky is showing among them.

Maybe I'll make a little chain and see if I can do a photo (or 2) a day. Or every couple/few days. See how long I can go with it.

Another thing I love to get pictures of is when I can get water, land, and the sky in the same shot. Doesn't matter what kind of body of water, either.
In the foreground is short plants in various shades of green and brown. Past these, an expanse of light teal water stretches out. Hills and mountains of the opposite shore can barely be seen and blend into the grey clouds that sit low on the horizon. Dark, blue-grey water takes up the bottom half of the picture. The water is slightly choppy. In the distance, the hills appear green and blue as they rise up from the water. The hills on the left are closer and more green. Those on the right are more distant and blue. The sky is cloudy with light peaking through in many spots, adding a lot of definition to the clouds. They are various shades from dark blue to nearly white. There may or may not be a monster named Nessy under the dark water. The water is too dark and opaque to tell.

Wow, guess I haven't posted in a while. Hello! Still here and quiet. I was planning to share some pictures, since I like taking them. Maybe I'll start with just one. I love finding paths that disappear into the woods/foliage.
In the foreground, a dirt and woodchip path goes down the middle of the picture, eventually curving off to the right behind trees. To either side of the path is thick, vibrantly green foliage. Widely spaced trees are spread out among the other plants. Nearly all the trees are dark brown and covered in ivy. One lighter brown tree stands roughly in the middle, right before the curving path. It has no Ivy. Light Grey sky can be seen between the trees.

May have gone a little overboard with the early birthday book haul. Some were from my best friend as an early present. The rest (along with the Fourth Wing pins and stickers) were an early present from myself, lol. Some were recommendation, others just looked interesting.

It's chilly today. So, I decided to make chili!

Alright, I'm ready for Pumpkin Season to be back. My supply of pumpkin/pumpkin spice flavored things is getting dangerously low.

I don't mean to collect ducks, but when they have dragon ducks, how can I resist adding to my small collection? Bonus Pegasus duck too.

Guess it's been a while since I made a post... and I did want to try to post more. Just feels like I've got little to say most the time. So how about a semi-recent, cute cat picture?
