Kira needed lotssss of love, praise, shifting positions, comfort licking, etc....but she let me get every nail in the end. just tried thinning hers instead of 'shaping' like Ro's....their front nails need work but this is encouraging!!!

first time i tried to 'shape' their nails 'like a pencil' to encourage the quick to recede. not much growth from last week. for Kira i just tried to thin her nails at the end bc she has thicker nails than Rowie. had to hold Rowie like a baby but was able to get all her nails. good girl!!!

haaaa soo....i don't get 'the public'. i'm likely autistic and just....eww. yet my last job i was the doggie daycare receptionist and i think i thrived for a few years. SO WEIRD. even in new job i think i could handle recept. never could before, tho...

FOR THE RECORD, this would be for pain management. i'd rather try this route instead of more big pharma. if anyone in Ohio has their card, I have questions!!!

silly boy! Rowan just rubs on the couches, or feet up on recliner foot rests, or the floor. most couches. so far Kira doesn't rub or show any inclination to pick up that habit. first snow tonight and Kira said nooooo thank you lmao

lmaooooo. i can imagine this LOL. Rowan loves her sweaters, but also has short hair and LOVES TO RUB. like....she'll rub with her harness on so I think she just likes the feeling 🙄 Kira gets so happy! But she's never really been cared for properly so...watching her figure out -comfort-.... 💜
