Yes, I remember. I bought a bike there. Plus they repaired a lot of bikes for me long time ago. They had free air for tires in the back too.

I believe that's a small neighborhood off of Franke Rd which is behind Meijer in Traverse City. The neighborhood is not in the city limits. I've never heard it called Pig Town. Maybe that's something only the locals living in there know.
