True. The Indian movement was peaceful, however having said that, its estimated that several hundred thousand Indians were killed during that movement. While ‘peaceful’ it was far from ‘bloodless’ and that movement aligns with what anonymous is saying above.

Non violence and civil disobedience worked for Gandhi and MLK. That is NOT the same as ‘sitting down’ when violence does breaks out. In both movements they scattered to the wind when violence did break out.

As above. Sitting down is the LAST thing you should do! RUN! Run for your life! If you sit it just makes you an easy target TO BE ARRESTED. And if you think you’re not gonna be arrested you’re in for a rude awakening.
