Defiance
In shadowed halls where whispers creep, and freedoms falter, lulled to sleep, a spark ignites, a flame takes hold, a tale of courage, fierce and bold. When voices crack beneath the weight, of mandates dressed as righteous fate, the roots of defiance, deep and strong, rise through the silence, to right the wrong. Though fear may dress in noble guise, we see the truth, we pierce the lies. No chains of iron, no walls of might, can quench the fire of human right. So stand we shall, through storm and tide, with hearts unbowed, with arms spread wide. For in resistance, freedom breathes, And justice blooms among the leaves.

This is my first original post on Bluesky. It seems so much calmer here. Looking forward to having good conversations without being called a commie, hopefully. I’m an environmentalist/climate activist. Just one of many passions. Looking forward to good conversation!
