True. Social media has just allowed misinformation to spread like wildfire. And just so much hate, anger, bigotry, etc.
It gets me so depressed. I wish it didn't but it does.

Who are "they"? The gaming industry as a whole? Certainly not exclusively Nintendo... I'm also of the understanding that the majority (maybe all?) of 1st party Nintendo titles won't require DLs, these new game cards are for 3rd party titles that won't fit on 1 gamecard, but again, I see your point.

Ohh i see your point. This has been happening for years and years now though, by all video game companies. I heard people upset that these new Switch 2 game cards were just "code in a box with a game card" which isn't the case, assumed this is what you meant. Apologies.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's not how the game cards work. They work like any other game card except you must download a lot of content before playing. That download is NOT locked, so the game card can be purchased second hand, it just requires a download on a new system.

In fairness to him, that sounds like a pretty clever move... had no idea he was capable of that.

I saw. People are blaming Nintendo, reckon they are being "greedy" and using the tariffs as an "excuse to rip off everyone". The stupidity is real. The Switch 2 isn't cheap but video games haven't really increased in price in decades so it's sorta overdue imo.
