If anyone has been wondering why I have been quiet lately - The past 4 weeks have been filled with family emergencies, house cleanup and work stress. Both Dom and I are ok, we are just so exhausted and drained. It's hard cleaning a bio-hazard house (not ours) with just us two.

I may not be active for a little while. My dog Freya is having back issues again (same as last year), and it’s ripping me apart. So, my mood and ability or be upbeat and happy is down. For the like 3 people that read this, I wanted to let you know.

I'm a little nervous about Hurricane Milton. The media isn't helping either. This is why I stopped watching the news, but stick to real sources like NOAA. Despite me being in east Orlando, if it hits as a Cat4 the winds could still do damage inland. I'm going to be really stressed the next few days.

One thing of many that Bluesky does right. When you navigate to another part of the app (like chat) and go back to your feed, it doesn't refresh and lose your spot. This and many other issues with X are the reason why its circling the drain.

For those of you that have been following, I wanted to give an update about my back. So, it turns out that my Sciatica Nerve was aggravated on Saturday, and I have been in pain ever since. I went to the Urgent Care, ER and then my Primary. I'm able to get some relief via meds, but it's going ....

Update: so urgent care thinks it is a pulled muscle or my sciatica. So I got a nice pain shot and some muscle relaxers to help over the next few days. Hopefully I can start feeling better in a day or two. This pain was a 13 out of 10 earlier.

I URGE YOU NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS. This is a very common social engineering tactic that hackers put out there to gather data from you to help with security questions or data to hack you.
This out there for all the world to see and can be used against you.

For the first time in over 15 years I am not going to be at Megaplex. I don’t know if it’s the culture or the massive changes or the stupid cost of hotel/food/etc that has me not wanting to go. What does hurt is this is the year that I’m not staff, could have a good time but don’t know if I can.

Today is not a good day. I have been dealing with a lot of stress recently and I am at my breaking point. I am tired of hemorrhaging money left and right and not being able catch up. My dog needs to go back to the vet today because she is chewing her tail again. I need a break...or a hug....
