These are the 'live action' remakes we deserve

*spoilers / hc cont* They could've had the Richard Lives crowd fighting the hoodwinked "citizens" to defend Runningman until they all see the Network editing the events they're witnessing IRL. The Citizens rally, turning on the Network, Big bad could even scream "stop f*cking filming me!" Fin. Boom.

*spoilers / headcannon cont* they let Runningman through the blockade, back into the heart of a populated zone. Fight ensues, hunters die- they could even have the same empassioned speech Big Bad takes off air / edits- but he doesn't account for the witnesses filming and distributing the raw footage

*SPOILER* The movie was heavy-handed with its messaging, but failed to deliver with impact. They should have done the final showdown with witnesses, on the streets. Big bad would be drooling over the idea of LIVE spectacle, but blind to the danger of ground- movement independent recording. 🧵
