WELP, HERESY JUST DECIDED TO ABSOLUTELY RIP ME UP. HOLY SHIT!!!

Did some Achievement Hunting in Stela by SkyBox Labs and I forgot how beautiful this game is. There’s not much in the game mechanically beyond walk right and interact with Thing, but there’s some really thoughtful worldbuilding done with some very simple but elegant choices. The volley bit rocks. :)

The FAR games by @okomotive.bsky.social are fantastic. Two very lovely titles that exemplify good mechanical integration, lovely art direction that blend sometimes frantic gameplay with moments of true serenity. Anyone who has ever enjoyed down time in a service job will appreciate these :)

It saddens me to no end that playing the Guardians theme on the giant organ doesn’t have some sort of Easter egg. Guess I’ll just have to be satisfied with a nice shotgun. #destiny2

Finally getting started with a Review List for 2025. Excited to be doing it on BlueSky where the vibe is generally much more wholesome. This year I’m shooting for 15 finished games, 10 finished books, and 2 RPG sourcebooks. Wish me luck! :)
