Honestly, I’m pretty impressed by the results. I probably won’t be doing this type of shaping again any time soon but I’m going to try to get some space in the gas kiln the next time the studio fires it up

and 2) it was the first time I used the studio’s gas kiln

This piece was an adventure for two reasons: 1) it was an exercise in extreme shaping for that night’s class
