The 500-series Shinkansen at Shin-Iwakuni station on the Sanyo Shinkansen Line. The 500 series was introduced to service on March 22 1997 and is planned to be retired around 2027
A bit sad that the 500 series is gonna retire soon :(

The 273 series train for the "Yakumo" Limited Express at Okayama station

This train is pretty similar to some of Jr Wests other Ltd rolling stock. Train is brand new too, as it started service in April of 2024

This train is the E259 series train used for the Narita and Shiosai Limited Express.
Took this photo at #Shinjuku. Kinda sad this train replaced the 255 series since I liked how they look. Noticed that JR is replacing alot of their older trains.

The Tokyo Metro 9000 series train at Shin #Yokohama station
The Shin Yokohama Line for Soutetsu and Tokyu rail are pretty nice.The line opened just a year ago, and while it is short, the newer feel of the line's stations is nice

The Nagasaki Electric Tramway 1200A Series Train bound for Ishibashi via route 5.
Appearantly, this train, along with 3 others, used to be called 1200 series, but the name was changed after renovation work. Only one 1200 is left as it wasn't renovated.

The Nagasaki Electric Tramway 300 Series Train bound for Hotaru-Chaya on Route 3.
Nagasaki's Tram system is pretty cool. It's the only tram system in Japan that hasn't lost any of its original lines. Also has a nice variety of rolling stock, too.

This 100 series train has a pretty nice livery. Appearantly, it's painted pink and red to represent Tochigi prefecture, famous for its strawberries.

I'm glad I found out about the Hokuriku area before going to Japan last summer! Fukui and it's Dinosaur museum they have was honestly cool as fuck lol
