A local arborist company has been kind enough to indulge my passion in their scrap log pile-less than a mile from home! The logs have sat a few years, so at least a *bit* seasoned. Only split one round by the glow of the tail lights-because restraint. More wood than you might think fits in a CRV.

Why one of those Japanese mini-trucks sometimes seems like a pretty decent idea. I tried one “on" and… it wasn’t easy to get into or out of- but *was* fairly uncomfortable to sit in and drive, so there’s that! Yes, I’ve been quite happy with the battery powered saw.
