Physical games currently in the cart reader now have a new colored cart icon. Games that require a physical cart also have a new icon.

Both are new.

Previously physical games and digital games shared the same blue icon and the "need a cart" icon was also different.

Reggie Fils-Aimé already said as much in 2018 : "That time you spend surfing the Web, watching a movie, watching a telecast of a conference: that’s all entertainment time we’re competing for. My competitive set is much bigger than my direct competitors in Sony and Microsoft. I compete for time."

Je ne l'ai pas encore fait mais j'y jetterais un œil un jour.

Je serais passé à côté de pas mal de chouettes jeux si je m'étais contenté de suivre les avis de la meute des mécontents.

XBox's Smart Delivery is similar for XB1 and XB Series X.

Most of the time the disc only includes the XB1 files, making it sort of a "Game Key" for a Series owner (though you can play the XB1 version via BC), but some games, like Soul Hackers 2 for ex., did include both versions on the disc.

I loved that game, still hoping to see it playable on modern consoles one day.

I'd say the Xenoblade series, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Trails from Zero / To Azure, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions (and Picross).

Full digital download on physical. It's a Game Key Card and those have zero storage for games.

They only store the info letting you download and play the game when the card is inserted.

This reminds me of Ken Kutaragi saying "our goal for PS3 is for consumers to think to themselves : I will work more hours to buy one."

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a cast ranging from 20 something to 60 something, the majority being in their forties. Something common to this franchise.

Their iconic character, Kazuma Kiryu, was already 37 in their first game in 2005.

Keyboard and Mouse are already supported by games on PS & Xbox. Mostly shooters, but also adventure games, strategy and management games.

Story, worldbuilding and character interactions first and foremost no matter what type of RPG or adventure game it is.

Trust me.

Thinking about it, but in no hurry.

I have enough Switch 1 games in my backlog to wait a couple of years.

That'll give me time to see how things goes (e.g. possible future revision) and wait for enough exclusive S2 games to be in my wishlist to motivate my purchase.

I will absolutely pick it up but I'd like to play the original games on PC first to see the progression.

I started playing Trails with Crossbell so the whole Sky trilogy is unknown territory for me.
