Given the significance of the government shutdown and Trump’s threats to permanently fire thousands of government employees, a nationwide strike of all those affected, including TSA and ATC, would get the attention of congress and force action to work out a solution to the shutdown.

Why is not EVERY Dem congressperson not on podcasts and social media debunking the Republican lies about illegal immigrants being eligible for healthcare? They are not now nor ever have been eligible. Instead they’re fighting over blame for the shutdown. At this point they’re all to blame.

Congrats to all of Canada for the election outcome today. You have shown there is room in this world for respect, decency, and the rule of law. Hopefully yours will be the start of a reaffirmation of liberal democratic world order. Elbows up!

So Schumer has convinced 9 Dems to vote with him to keep the government open. I’m amazed at how fast the Dems moved to replace Biden. Why can’t a similar thing happen here? The majority of Dems voted against this CR, why can’t they replace Schumer?
