I often hear people complain @ finding VM in their yarn, but for me, I actually love seeing it there. It means that it came from a farm and connects me to where I purchased it from. I also find it as a moment for meditation as I either decide to leave it or carefully work it out from the fibers. 🧶💕

This article was so beautifully written and researched! Thank you for shining a light on our local producers and the Fibershed movement!

I saw that there was, but I couldn’t read it as I’m not a subscriber. I love that our @sevendaysvt.bsky.social publication is free to everyone! They do such an amazing job at reporting!

Leaves in the Brook is one of my favorite colors from Junction Fiber Mill! It knits up so beautifully!

I’m curious why you say never… do you prefer to see the design first rather than it being a mystery?

OMG!!! @livrunsfast.bsky.social !!! I had no idea your focus this week was going to be on Joy and Care! I think my Happy Sleepy is so fitting with the theme. These little guys make me so happy! I have spent the better part of this year using them as therapy knitting. They just make me smile. 😊 💕

I haven’t perfected stranded knitting across sections of short-rows yet, so this isn’t part of the pattern, but even though it’s really wonky, I still love this one!
