To be fair the Duolingo Arabic course is bad enough that I’m not sure they were really capable of making an Arabic course in the first place. I am haunted by George and Rosa to this day.

Seems like Iran and Myanmar are part of the same process of generational change, with much more extreme pushback. Additional question: is the trend cyclical? Is everything going to end up like Ethiopia has?

I expect you can scam someone and use the money to hire company. Other than that, it’s probably not going to be because of something called Web3, even the means of being less lonely relies on the exact same technologies.

I went from depressed dropout teenager to basically a character from whatever that book’s prequel would be. Not always fun, but meaning is a hell of a lot better than fun. No apologies necessary.

I mean, I heard of you because of Metatropolis and never saw the bacon cat. And like, to be really honest, the last eleven years of my career only really happened because of ideas I had while reading that anthology, so uh, thanks.

Tbh, pretty sure the mass adoption of BDSM by the Bay Area tech community was mostly a way to train for success in that business environment by simulating its rules and customs in the bedroom.
