UK-based Medical doctor, anti-Brexit and anti-Tory.
I agree his principal failing is that he is a sociopath, but his use of heroin displays a rather different attitude to risk with pharmacologically active substances than the one he displays today.

I reckon I am 70% spudhead, 20% mad yoke and 10% handsome charmer. No sleaze bag, thankfully.

Most EU countries provide free or low fee education to their citizens, and some to foreigners too. There is already a graduate tax in place, it is called income tax. No reason people who choose good earning courses should subsidise those who don't.

PSA is a poor screening test. It is often elevated for reasons other than prostate cancer, it can be normal with prostate cancer and it tends to run higher in black men. The evidence of benefit in asymptomatic men is very poor. I am a public health trained doctor aged 60 and I decline PSA testing.

What a miserable piece of shitbaggery.

What sort of EV have you, and what was your previous?

and insurance.

Include the high purchase price and heavy depreciation into the equation too.

It really is a disgrace, a dirty deal cooked up by Witless and Dmetriev seemingly driven by future deals between Russia and MAGA, leaving an open door to Putin's completion of his acquisition of Ukraine in a year or two. And a smear campaign against Zelensky to clear the path.

Trump calling anyone low IQ, incompetent or a fat slob shows an astonishing lack of self-awareness. Good thing he didn't call these guys corrupt, sexual predatory criminals or he would have the full bingo card.

Kash has turned out to be an even more incompetent and over-entitled idiot than was feared.

Not a massive shock. The problem with AD is that by the time symptoms appear it may already be too late to arrest the disease. A test that detects future AD pre-symptomatically, preferably a few years ahead, is needed.

I can see those two killing it on the comedy circuit.

The whole point of the deal is to deal with the pesky Ukrainians so that Trump can do deals with his spiritual bro Vlad. The Trump Black Sea Golf Resort is probably sketched out already.

Typical, Tories claiming it is all easy in hindsight. As a doctor involved in discussions within the medical community at the time, I can assure you there was a shit load of foresight warning that if something wasn't done soon, there would be a lot of people hurt. But it wasn't done soon enough.

Every plan Trump comes up with is a dumpster fire. In political terms he is a serial dumpster arsonist. Need more specificity.

Wow, AI is developing so fast it can now masturbate.

Nobody liked him anyway. A justification for murder and chopping the body up in Trumpland.
November 20, 2025 at 7:19 AM
Bloviating gives Trump more credit than he deserves, as it implies deliberately filling space with vacuous specs. Trump is more like the Knights Move ravings of a madman, interspersed with occasional lucid moments giving insight into his bigotry and misogyny.

Wow, that Sharia Law must really be working!
November 19, 2025 at 7:29 AM
That would really be taking the piss.
November 17, 2025 at 10:47 PM
It is kinda simple, really. Reform has no coherent, rational economic policy, just a bunch of 5 magic beans type ideas, nor do they have people with the competence or political judgement to develop them. the only surprise is that their Councils have collapsed in chaos quite as quickly as they have.

Did I say he should force the BBC to do anything? No, I didn't, but he should see this as a very strong signal about the toxic nature of the UK-US relationship, and TTTFO. The BBC may well ask his advice, as they are entitled to do, and to which he is entitled to respond.

He is not dumb but utterly cynical. He knows this plan is laughably fantastical, and even if achievable, would take decades to play out. But it also serves the agenda of pushing back against pharma spend and doing nothing to improve basic healthcare for those most affected by health issues.
