Hmm, #mastodon should REALLY improve/change their default theme… I just checked floss.social instance and darn it looks WAY better…
I know that I can change the theme in the peferences but:
1) I only found out now that the other themes don't suck
2) if you switch you loose auto light/dark switch…

I think that 5&6 is just a bug. Fine - it's a thread indicator but if the reply is just a single message then don't display it. If the first reply is continuation of the thread and then it has other replies it seems to look/work ok

The whole UI/UX of the original masto is just... awful :/
why not display the actual boosts/likes directly next to the icon (1, 2, 3, 4) - more streamlined… what the f*ck is this tiny line that just looks awful... supposedly thread indicator but... terrible on it's own…

I mean I get ads - that's fine. But if you could make it only in 1-2 blocks instead of like 5-ish that would be awesome :)
There is one Podcast that does "thanks to patreons" and it's in one block in the middle which is, uhm, "convenient" :)
