Maybe when you formulate a question, then with a report the answer to it might be spread across pages, visuals, filters etc.. So synthesis of information to get the answer is actually the difficult part (always been) and ai it can do it for you swiftly?

Same happening in other tools (thedatavist.netlify.app/posts/2025-0...) + everyone builds their own semantic layer (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt) + there are open source semantic layers like Malloy, Cube and many more. Looks like a major paradigm shift.
