This is an insane take. Political violence has permeated the political landscape of this country since its inception. Just because you only recognize certain forms of political violence doesn't mean the rest of it never happened.

I found out about the shooting on here because someone posted the video here. They still weren't reporting on his condition, but it was immediately obvious if you watched it.

I can't think of anything that matters less than splitting hairs over where the line is for "working class". Do you work for a living? You're a worker and should be looking out for other workers. This isn't hard.

Consumer electronics, medical devices, defense, DC power systems, ASIC's, FPGA's, industrial machines, RF, you know. The vast majority of EE work. It's only construction and large scale power distribution that need it. For anything else, it's not worth paying the licensing fees.

I've been an EE for 12 years, and neither me nor any of the EE's I've worked with in that time have had a license.

Neither of these things are true. Communism is a subset of socialist thought in which the state, class, and money are abolished.

Some people can't afford not to show up to work or avoid shopping on a given day, and a well organized strike will provide for those people in a meaningful way. None of that infrastructure was put in place. So this is going to be meaningless.

That's because simply posting stuff like this online is the absolute worst way to organize a strike. You need on the ground organizing, you need workplace organizing, you need orgs who are capable of motivating people involved, and most importantly, you need to provide alternatives.

It definitely isn't. It's all basically just an ACA style handout to private corps to pretend to fix the things they broke in the first place.

Some of it I even agree with, like we definitely should get rid of regulations only allowing for single family homes and barring mixed use between commercial and residential. The majority of it is just trying to hand over government money to capitalist developers and getting rid of safety regulation

Essentially, he wants to couple massive government investment in green energy and other vaguely progressive things with deregulation of housing development and end stipulations on government contracts that say they should try to use women-owned or black-owned businesses first.
