There's lots of things to say that would otherwise get you banned on here. Suggesting a course of action that 'you can't disturb people that haven't done anything to you' is used as a shield against other types of reforms that are more progressive than just promising a better life for people.

If I had to sum up social media it'd be the idea that somehow people are enlightened/open to the problems people face, but refuse to acknowledge or bear a passive aggressive resentment behind barely disguised acceptance when it inconveniences them. Claiming, "Cope", when they hate you're not them.

The amount of people on here whose lives entirely revolve around their fetish is frankly, disturbing. They can't even be dignified in death because it's all people knew them for.

Sometimes I think about this website, then I realize, "Oh yeah, payment processors didn't change their policies. Again." I don't know, maybe I need a control group and an experimental group, but I get the feeling that I'd just be 'wrong' with whatever conclusion I came to.

The fear of the unknown becoming known and no longer having the illusion of power people place in an idea, person, or thing to prop themselves up is prevalent in every facet of life. Is this cynicism? Or is it just people saying they're something when in reality they're more in it for themselves.
