It's going to be hard for teams to get new fans when every team wants to be locked behind a paywall with an exclusive app or channel. It's getting to the point that fans can't even watch home games anymore.

If you're a NYC fan it's $350 a year for the Yankees, nets, Knicks and nets. When you add that on top of other streaming services, and internet bill they're actively pricing fans out.
