What batteries and inverter are you running there? If there are no CAN/RS485 ports, your inverter might be monitoring Ah in and Ah out. If so, you can set something up to monitor that to let you know your state of charge.

What batteries are you using? if they have bluetooth or some other comms, I might be able to help you make a raspi dashboard for monitoring them..
