68/ June 2014 - "Fair Elections Act" Bill C-23 (41-2) www.parl.ca/legisinfo/en...

Took a slight detour with such an important piece of legislation that included a ton of commentary from Pierre Poilievre. Head over to the sub-thread for this.

1/ I knew there was a lot I wanted to cover with Pierre Poilievre's "Fair Elections Act" and anticipated a lengthy summarization of the bill. But it quickly became clear that this piece of legislation was far too important.

1/ With a federal election on the horizon🗳️, I'm diving into the last 20+ Years of Legislation (since Poilievre entered HOC).

From bills that passed with royal assent to those that didn't make it past first reading, this thread explores what they tell us about those vying to lead Canada.🍁🧵 #cdnpoli

How likely that Singh is behind all the policies that created this giant dept? I bet tax break and money give out is his idea. So he threatens Trudeau to call election if he wouldn’t bring this policy. Before economic statement Trudeau had a fight with Feeland and she resign (a thought)

Just curious, does @jagmeetsingh.ca knows that healthcare is on provincial government hands not federal?
Justin Trudeau failed in the biggest job a Prime Minister has: to work for people, not the powerful.

The NDP will vote to bring this government down, and give Canadians a chance to vote for a government who will work for them.

Based on the tweet it seems to me that she were like a bone it a throat for him. She is not scared of him, stands her ground and pushes back whenever fell like it. It is hard for him to understand as he is not used to people saying “no” to him, so he calls them “toxic” and “not conducive”.
Someday school children will learn about Trump as an example of what America will never go back to, he will be a stain on our nation and his name will be remembered in the same league as names like “judas.”

Canada is at risk of democratic backsliding if right-wing populist Pierre Poilievre & the CPC get in govt. PPs admitted plans to invoke notwithstanding clause to overide the Charter & break down democratic institutions/guardrails are warning signs we cannot ignore

The biggest problem I see here is that there is no way government or whoever else can stop it. It’s oligopoly. Not too long ago people tried to fight Loblaws and stopped shopping there - not helped even a bit. it feels like living in surreal movie.

Here we go, folks. It’s finally conclusive. I guess the tax is lax, so fire the liar.

Spread it far and wide to make Poilievre/Cons cry:
