The @WNBA.com should gift the @nba.com a giant x40 magnifying mirror at the next negotiations meeting so that the NBA reps can stare at themselves in a manner that allows the deep-aging cracks in the veneer of their thinking to be shown.

After dominating the Mercury in the Best of 7, Las Vegas wins with four-of-a-kind Aces high! The Mercury clawed back in the 4th but could not stay composed enough to fight, despite coming within 6 PTS. Messy game, it needed to end tonight. PHX Copper with 30, LVA Wilson 31 PTS.

Phoenix Mercury claws back Q3 24-22, with better defense and chippier play. Score back to within 14, despite Tibbets being 86'd, PHX's Copper is adding 🔥 to the game!

Las Vegas is raining another 3 PT game over Phoenix, out-rebounding & out-shooting an out-coached Mercury. Down the first half of what's looking like a 🧹, the Mercury needs to find their focus to come back & bring the fire. NGL, the Semi's were better.
LVA Wilson 14, PHX Thomas 11 PTS but hurt.

Mercury Satou Sabally ruled out of Game 4 on Friday for concussion protocol.
October 9, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Phoenix heated up with 5 minutes left in the 4th, bringing the game to a tie. After losing Sabally, the Mercury rallies in her absence to bring the fire. But far too late, as Wilson secures the final shot. PHX's Bonner with 25, was in her prime, &
LVA Wilson with 34 PTS outplayed the defense.
October 9, 2025 at 2:36 AM
Phoenix Mercury still trying to get things hot enough to threaten the Aces, with 9-3's already & halfway to a Game 3 win. Clock issues tonight slowing the pace & Tibbets earned a "T" mad about it. The Aces with a 12 point lead, eyeing the brooms off court. PHX Sabally has 15, LVA Wilson with 18 PTS.

Battle of the paint, Las Vegas and Phoenix in hand-to-hand combat beneath the net. The Aces were slow to warm up but in the 2nd quarter, held PHX to 10 points. LVA Wilson with 20, PHX's Copper with 15 PTS. Getting a little chippy too. Mercury's AT is not happy with her 3 fouls from guarding A'ja.
October 5, 2025 at 8:06 PM
The series begins, with a strong early showing by PHX. But LVA caught up & took the lead at the end, when the Mercury blew the 4th quarter. AT missed crucial free throws, sealing the Aces' win. LVA's A'ja, Evans (5-3's) & PHX's Copper (5-3's), had 21 points. The Aces appear steady. PHX not so much.

What a game 5! A head-to-head match of lead changes & back-to-back baskets, including IND losing Mitchell & LVA's Loyd injured (able to return). No one knew the tension would get this high or give us a contentious overtime. But alas, Indiana has to go home, while the Aces take on PHX in the finals.
October 1, 2025 at 4:12 AM
Prayers and support for Indiana's Kelsey Mitchell, who is currently being taken off the court. Possible quad injury.
October 1, 2025 at 3:06 AM
First half, Aces by 2, a match leading to a Finals with PHX. High-volume shooting by both Indiana & Las Vegas, with a painful buildup of fouls on both teams, including a Hammon technical. The second half will be intense. LVA Wilson & IND Fever are leading in scoring with 12 each. Raise or fold?

What a season, MN! But the heat in PHX was too much for the Lynx, who stumbled offensively in the 4th. Mercury's AT led with 23 points, MN's McBride with 31. The Lynx owned the paint, fast break & limited turnovers, but could not find the rim as well as the Mercury. LVA or IND is next in the Finals.
September 29, 2025 at 2:11 AM
No ambulances so far. The Mercury has turned up the heat on the Lynx, pulling up 14 points in the 2nd, tying the game. Collier & Carrington on the sidelines in boots & Reeve at home, the Lynx are still a tough team to beat. PHX Sabally hot with 18 points, Lynx' Smith with 12. Will PHX close it out?
September 29, 2025 at 1:06 AM
LV Aces wanted game four, but the Fever needed it more. LVA's A'ja was all business with 31 buckets to IND Mitchell's 25. When it wasn't IND's AB, it was Hull, Sims, Peddy & Howard who brought a hot plate to lunch! IND ruled in the paint & Vegas turnovers were costly. We're going to Vegas, baby!
September 28, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Ooh wee, we have a fun game between LVA & the Fever. IND Mitchell is hot, & the Ace's Wilson is too. A must-win for IND to get Game 5, LVA wants to end it here tonight to prep for the Finals. Ace's have been sloppy with the ball & the Fever are turning it into points. Gainbridge is on fire!

Consider the 2025 official rules. AT's attempt at the ball appears clean, but Phee was in the way. Whether AT intended to collide with Phee's body or not is secondary. Because Phee could not react or avoid, doesn't the rule put the responsibility to avoid contact on AT?🤔

Incidental or not, AT's mass & inertia put Collier down. AT, at 6'2" 203 lbs, and Phee at 6'1" 180 lbs, ran into each other attempting a fast break. That's a lot of kinetic energy in linear momentum, resulting in an elastic collision. Physics majors will tell ya, this hurt.
