Looking for someplace other than Disney to get your #animation fix? It just so happens that #KnightsofGuinevere (from Owl House creator #DanaTerrace, now with #GlitchProductions) debuts tonight on YouTube. #Indieanimators are everywhere (including in my attic).

There are many reasons most of us can't leave...& many reasons many of us don't want to. It took them decades to get us to July 3, 2025. There are more of us than there are of them, so let's keep on going.

Resistance begins in your mind.

Hey there. Just a reminder that art is resistance. If art didn't matter--if it didn't scream the truth--they wouldn't spend so much time and effort trying to steal and devalue it.

Hi, friend!
It's Transgender Day of Visibility and I'm so glad you're here!

Have a seat--can I get you a snack?

You are always in my heart and I love you just as you are!

I've only got one book out there (so far), and I'm self-published, but it's been scraped by LibGen, too. I guess this lends further legitimacy to my authordom?

I mean, I'd want to steal my tone, voice, and style, too--I think it's kick-ass--but honestly, this sucks. 1/

Today is World Poetry Day!

I started my writing life as a poet, and I've always been especially drawn to free verse. It's also what I most often write, when I write poetry.

On St. Patrick's Day 15 years ago, we brought Maisie home. Happy welcome-home day, little beagle! You're as stubborn as ever, and we wouldn't have it any other way

Here's the comic on libraries and book bans. Find the alt text at stopproject2025comic.org/comic/librar...

Book bans are about suppressing knowledge and about keeping people down.

Last weekend, I took a break from writing & we drove out to the B.O.N.E.S. Beagle Bash.
Maisie was probably the oldest beagle there (14.75 yrs). She's got anxiety, so there was a lot of drooling, but she socialized politely, got a bit of a massage, & konked out in the car on the way home!

Reading Zeph's copy of THIS BOOK IS GAY. It's so old it bears Juno Dawson's deadname. I'm glad it was available for Zeph when they had questions I didn't know they had, & couldn't have answered, anyway. Attend school board meetings, write letters to your reps, & join the fight! #bannedbooksweek

Anyone who knows me also knows I read banned & challenged books throughout the year. During Banned Books Week, though, I make sure to read a *recently* banned/challenged book. I'll be reading THIS BOOK IS GAY by Juno Dawson from October 1 - 7.
