Maybe you are right. I travel in and out of Birmingham quite regularly and the amount of pro Palestine flags and art I see is huge. Maybe the police thought it was a safe bet to ban the fans and that they would get backed in turn.

I know someone who works for a council legal department and they aren't allowed to use AI. It makes stuff up(hallucinations). I think AI is here to stay but how it will be used is still a question mark.

Well that's why is gov will be out next time around. I have usually voted labour but never again. Palestine is THE issue and if they think bringing Burnham in is going to save their skins,they are delusional.

I agreed with the ban, but it's the basic bungling that grates. They(police) knew it would be contentious and their argument needed to be watertight. I don't really understand why they had to make stuff up.

How did they think that this wouldn't be found out? If I was a defendant or indeed prosecutor in a case involving west mids police, I'd get my lawyer to check every police statement/document for AI, crazy.

Any police chief using AI to pad a decision like this needs to go. Where else has AI been used? MT ultras deserve to be banned like any other hooly group but do it in the right way with actual police work and human intelligence.
