When it is too cold and wet to work in the garden I process the seeds I saved during the growing season. Today I am working on some Valerian seeds a friend gave me. The finished seeds in the lower right.

I am not good enough at this to get it 100% commercial level clean, but I am getting better!

Our local park is in a very old walnut orchard. Free walnuts for the gathering!

I have not been able to grow any kinds of beans in years. OK, decades. Thank you ground squirrels. This year I took on a community garden. Boom. Beans. These are next years green beans!
