In fairness: Said this before because there's not a flatpak for every one of my use cases and sometimes immutable distros come with stuff I would rather be rid of.

There is such a wealth of people on this planet, and youtube is such a mainstream platform, yet I can only name about 32 or so channels that get consistently recommended to me. Surely there are other people out there that deserve some time in the spotlight that have channels right up my alley?

Can you at least do something useful with that information? A video is in my watch history, and you have the data of how long I've viewed the video. So therefore, don't recommend it again. Please.

There's a saying, "Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity."
But the recommendations are too accurate sometimes to assume stupidity. Therefore, it has to be malice, because it'll do this even if I explicitly click "not interested" "don't recommend channel".

I understand why, it's because someone new to linux needs to be dripfed new information about it little by little instead of having it infodumped on them all at once. Most people don't even understand what a prefix is till you explain it like "A Windows C:\ drive in a little pocket dimension".

Hell yeah, much appreciated. Hopefully whatever the QoL is, it considers multiple prefixes as well, because as an example, Mod Organizer 2 would be able to manage multiple games like Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas, FO4, etc. or how Sonic Adventure Mod Manager can manage both SA1 and SA2. De-duplication.
