I really wish I'd listened more during my first rodeo
Having recently upgraded to macOS Tahoe, I'm getting used to some of the design changes. It's a journey. However, one change I can't overlook is the abomination that is the Time Machine disk icon on the desktop. So many things are wrong with it. Why inflict this on us? #macOS

Recently reread I am Legend by Richard Matheson, which was released in 1954. While unlikable, the main character's loneliness and struggles to make sense of what's happening after an apocalypse turns people into vampires carries the book. The story also gets points for not pulling the ending!

Just reread Joe Haldeman's The Forever War. Such a great book: an amazing concept, lean prose, and a singularly focused premise. And like virtually all Sci-Fi, it provides an outsider's lens on society. In this case, seeing how humanity evolves over decades, centuries, and millennia.
