Misinformation didn't just suddenly arrive with the internet. It's basic journalism to check facts wherever they came from.

I am in my 50s and was never taught the imperial system at school. Why on earth is the transition to metric taking so long. It's got to be holding the country back.

I do remember Oasis being on the radio a lot and in the news for slagging off blur. But they certainly did not define my generation. I was far too busy with Suede, levellers, Nirvana, New Madel Army, Rage Against the Machine and PWEI to ever give a rats about Oasis. It was a golden time for music.

Can we add "for the avoidance of doubt...".

And, Windows insists on opening PDFs in my browser rather than the actual whizz-bang dedicated PDF software that I went to great lengths to have installed. Even when I tell it not to, it keeps reverting back. And don't get me started about printers, let's just go back and deal with the basics.

Thank you for pointing this out. I thought it was just me struggling to understand some of the headlines these days.
Journos need to learn that sometimes a story is too complex to explain in a one sentence headline. Just give it a title instead.

Somehow, on this platform bots are much less of a threat. Mainly because they have less meatheads to stir up. Here they become light entertainment. if only someone could invent a bot to seek out the disagreeable bots and lock them into profound conversations about their own existence for eternity.

I really enjoyed the show, I could've listened to another couple of hours of that, we need a long-form version please.
