Part of the background to the fall of El Fasher and RSF atrocities there is the sustained airlift from the UAE to the RSF via Libya - sixty Il-76 flights during October alone.

The parallel eastern government says it cancelled the European delegation's meetings and sent it back because it didn't respect Libyan sovereignty - presumably because the delegation wanted to meet Haftar without meeting his government, which is not internationally recognized.

Eine dringende Notwendigkeit gab es für dieses Treffen sicher nicht. Stattdessen geht es hier offensichtlich um den demonstrativen Schulterschluss mit Netanjahu trotz IStGH-Haftbefehls.

What happened at prime minister's office in Tripoli last night after security forces opened fire to disperse protesters? Medical source to @libyaalahrar.tv: three protesters injured. Reuters only carries government's claim that one member of the security was killed.

Haftar and his sons Khaled and Saddam didn't quite get the red carpet treatment of heads of state and they didn't get to sit in the front row at today's parade in Moscow. But they were still pretty happy to be there and shake Putin's hand.
