Skjelmose was consistently in World Tour GC top 5s in 2024. But those were mostly in weak fields. I don’t see him getting those same results in 2025. If he gets a lot of points I think it’s more likely because he repeats his 2023 Ardennes performance.

Carlos Rodriguez should be Ineos’s main GC option. Bernal is still not quite back. Thomas is really too old now, Arensman had a disappointing 2024. With full team support in Giro and/or Vuelta, Carlos can podium one or both. His Romandie win also gives confidence for 1-weeks.

Carapaz got the bulk of his points in 2024 from the Tour and Vuelta. He should not go for GC anymore as winning a GT or even a podium is unrealistic.
A stage hunting Carapaz will still get a number of close finishes if not a win or two. A good Ardennes week could mean he picks up a bunch of points
