The senate needs 60 votes to pass the CTR, republicans only have 53 votes, so in order to keep the government open, 7 democrats have to vote in favor of it. The current CTR is an EXACT same of CURRENT spending. The Democrats want MORE spending to be added, NOT going to be the fault of republicans!
