Only a handful of people know, but this event marks the official end of the controversial relationship between Ravynlea, the leader of one of Wizard101's largest fan-run spaces, and Kingsisle.
This development has led members of the community to question what prompted the sudden letter and subsequent ban. Was it published in anticipation of new information coming out? Has KI's investigation into Matthew "Sparck" Anderson unearthed troubling and corrupt connections?

It appears the attempt had the opposite effect, as within just 30 minutes after publishing it, she was banned from the official Wizard101 Discord server.

It appears the attempt had the opposite effect, as within just 30 minutes after publishing it, she was banned from the official Wizard101 Discord server.
The letter was met with immediate backlash outside of her server, especially from longtime community members, with many speculating that it was an attempt to shore up her standing as Sparck, embroiled in his own scandal with a history of excusing inappropriate behavior, was falling.

Without ever mentioning his name, it appears the letter was in part a response to the broader community's movement against Sparck, a (former?) Community Manager for Wizard101 and a key ally protecting Ravynlea from further repercussions.

Her letter (which can be found here: docs.google.com/document/d/1...) did little to address specific allegations of grooming and abuse, instead focusing on a brief history of her time in the community alongside a plea for members of the community to cease attacks against her (and Sparck..?).
