As the bitter cold rattles my bones I am made to reflect on how much I dislike Winter. My head hurts, my joints ache, and all I want to do is sleep until the season ends.

I think we need more heated pools in every town in this country. Why should Norway and Sweden have all the fun? I live in California and I would kill for a public pool that was good and warm at this time of year where we could all go to relax and do some low impact exercise.

Where I live, the sky meets the Earth and creates a vista like Silent Hill 2. As I walk around I hope to stumble across Pyramid Head, anything to break the fog of titanium white. I'd also accept one of the nurses or skin dogs.

First of December. "All i want for Christmas is YOu" stalks the streets and shops at night. Be wary travelers. For the only way to defend against this fiend is to blast "Last Christmas I gave you my heart" at it at the same volume. The two songs will duel and buy you enough time to escape.

Should we make Friendsgiving its own holiday? Just a holiday for a gathering of the bros. No big Turkey, but maybe a big soup or stew made using ingredients everyone brought?

Are Huskies just what would happen if you hit a Pomeranian with Gamma Rays? Just saying, both are fluffy and seem to behave very similarly in spite of a significant size difference. Further study might be required.

If you're wondering where I was over the past couple of days, I was dealing with house sitting and visiting family. I think all of us can forgive or just plain understand an absence on social media over the holidays. We all got stuff to worry about.

How is everybody doing after Thanksgiving? I somehow manage to keep myself from gaining much weight, but I still feel bloated. Sometimes it is just in ones head...and in the turkey...Also the pie....and the stuffing.

I mean, if either party, were to operate as a job placement service for average citizens regardless of political affiliation that would make a difference and would actually prove to the average voter that you gave a shit. It would have to be direct, no working through affiliates or 3rd parties.

Lately, I've been thinking of poverty, voting, and society. I identify as a progressive and I think that if either party really cared about positive societal change you need to do one thing that is impossible to argue with: get people jobs. Finding them, creating them, whatever.

Soooooo, who here has been enjoying Dispatch from AdHock studios? I have been watching walkthroughs and it lead me to an interesting conclusion: People who complain about games like it rail roading them don't understand that if the ride is fun then no one cares if they are being mostly rail roaded.
