I may die in two hours, I may die in a month or only in a few years; I can't know it and can't do anything either for or against it. That's how life is. How then must I live so as to be prepared for that moment? One must live for the good and the beautiful until life ends of its own accord.

So, no choice but to carry out one's work in all humility and for God's sake not lose oneself!!! For the easiest way to lose oneself is to want to give oneself to other people.
