In a past rant, pretty sure he made mention that the "idea" of getting rid of mail in voting came after talking to Putin. Putin told him he needed to put an end to it.

And you can sit at your kitchen counter, look up initiatives, and take your time going through the ballot, i.e., making a more informed vote.

An interesting footnote to this; the primary regulator of credit card rates is the Consumer Protection Financial Bureau which has nearly been ended by Trump. AP reports Russell Vought, Acting Budget Director and Project 2025 King, asked for funding for the agency following DJT's proclamation.

A failure in the eyes of many, but not mine. He kept to his moral compass and never veered. He didn't let his failures overwhelm him; he built on them and in the end, created something much bigger as his legacy.

Thought the FBI was in "charge" of the investigation? If so, why are FBI agents now masked? If it's not FBI, then one can assume that ICE is taking care of their own investigation. I'm sure justice will prevail. 🙄

I do both, but calling them, even if you leave a voice mail or talk to staff, it's supposed to be noted and recorded for the record. I'm not sure which annoys them more, but the important thing is not to sit and wait it out. Silence from us, is compliance and agreement in their minds.

Start calling. Even in my ruby red state, we call. We call and make them log our messages. Our representatives may ignore us, but our calls still must be logged so there is a record. They don't like the statistics.

Her take on DJT and how she believes he views the world is very interesting. It's also, in my mind, why people need to figure out that running a government and running a business are two very different things. A business person is not necessarily a great choice for a world leader.

Nothing would surprise me. That being said there is a very weird vibe about this year's Nobel, and after all, he is "deal maker". My advice to the Nobel Committee would be to stick to the sciences and arts when awarding future prizes and steer clear of the political.
