Using labels to pigeonhole groups of people, when paired with a qualitative statement, is one of the most antisocial things a person can do. For my concerns, there should be no "them", but only "us".

What others describe as "frugal" and "good with money" feels much closer to OCD from poverty trauma. It leaves me feeling unseen and lost in want of a healthier mind.

I've never persuaded by stating my beliefs in my own terms.
Persuasion often requires empathy in excess of what I reserve for friends and allies. It's a level of empathy mutually exclusive with animosity.

I think that abusive relationships that are extensive enough to be called out as such usually (not always) require distorted judgement. In my case and many others, a lack of a healthy self-worth is at the root of it.
In short: common type? no. Common traits? yes (with exceptions)

The desire to conform to an identity is fed by extreme individualism. Both of which are great stressors.
To simply be is at conflict with accepting identity from any source, including one's self. ☯️

Whatever I do, I find control in knowing that I chose it. even for what I've chosen due to a frightening alternative, there was an alternative. I choose to have a job. I choose to eat. I choose to live in housing. Any action that was not chosen deserves no deliberation or shame.
