Great game. Played one of the offical adventures and loved it. There were only two players and the GM - which is maybe the perfect amount of players for a detective game.

Something that’s been contributing to my GMitis is the end of a session. Doesn’t matter how good the game is it seems hard not to finish on a bum note and feel a bit deflated. Great episode - have shared with the DCC crazed hordes in Brisbane.

Finished listening today - I think one of the most reactionary defences of superheros is the Incredibles. Also would be interested in a comparison of The Watchmen with The Boys.

Also a good reminder for me to read the Jerry Cornelius books !

I think the second season is the best - and relatively politically strong. The finale is perhaps a critique of the superhero too

Really enjoying this - but not mention of Luther Arkwright so far. Would that be an example of a superhero from the counter-culture?

And China Mieville mentioned the art in Fighting Fantasy books. Unbelievable good. Shaped my sense of what fantasy was more than almost anything else.
