The majority of Black voters live in red states. Most red states are actually purple but GOP state legislatures have overly gerrymandered districts & do all kinds of voter suppression tactics.

I had a similar experience with my very first post, before I discovered that you can choose to limit your post engagement to only accounts that you are following. Not sure if that applies to DMs too, but I would hope so.

If you know your farmers, you can know how they treat animals and people and land. They don't always have an expensive certification, but we don't need that if we talk to one another. Each CSA share or market purchase is an investment in your neighborhood. Local is our path forward, together.

Local will forever be the most sustainable, most resilient, most revolutionary purchasing pattern you can ever establish. Moreso than becoming vegan or buying compostable plastics or buying certified fair trade.

Yum!! I made ricotta for the first time in a ravioli class at The Good Neighbor. She laid out components to add flavor - black garlic, fermented lemons, aged cheese, etc - and we minced our favorites and mixed them in. The ricotta tasted so good I wanted to eat it by the spoonful, sans ravioli 😂🤤
