red wine - or grape juice for the non-alcoholic version. To represent blood, it relates because the main character is a strigoi which is a vampire-like creature and the story is pretty gory. Then some little cookies with sheep on them to represent the recurring theme/symbol

The Hoia-Baciu Forest, also known as "the Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania," is so named for the shepherd and 200 sheep that vanished into it forever. This creepy and magnetically quirky forest is guilty of all manner of supernatural occurrences, but none more common than missing time
