Depends what’s out and whether I’m on another console, but they’ve seen a fair amount of action over the past few years

Two for me, both bought on launch day, both fine and dandy

I started my working life in video game retail and it sucks to see this. My heart goes out to all the passionate staff having to be the public face of all those poor decisions

Hot damn, if it means getting to see some more sweet, sweet John Blanche artwork I’m fully invested!

I remember really liking it until I had to play as a confused dude in a hoodie wandering aimlessly about the place. Too close to home…

This is how communities are built. Respectful engagement from either side of the fence needs to be welcome, but online trolls and needless antagonism should be disengaged and blocked at the first sign. You will never get through to these people, just move on.

@shazabdullah.bsky.social they’re coming for all of our free time…

It’s important to maintain a discourse, but many times people want to ‘own’ the trolls or try and make them look foolish while forgetting the fact that what they want is engagement. If someone’s entire discourse is built around bad faith or hyperbole (left or right) they go on the block list.

I honestly think the low resolution of the PS1 added to the atmosphere and general sense of otherworldliness presented by SH1. The later games are fantastic in their own right, but the first game genuinely felt like you were descending into some forbidden hellscape.

What if I try to be an asshole 20 million times…?

That’s the issue with modern gaming though, these gacha games make INSANE amounts of money. Pokemon TCG made $12mill in its first week and is just a simple loot box game with a basic card game attached. The masses want these things, and while they do investor-led companies will gravitate to them 🙃

Misdirection and ensuring ‘the base’ stays scared and angry, methinks
