The part about not being “rigid” but rather tuned into details others miss is especially important. What some might label as inflexibility can often be a deep commitment to precision, truth, or a well-structured way of thinking that neurotypical people may not fully appreciate.

I think that’s a great way to reframe autism in a strengths-based way. The traditional narrative often focuses on deficits, but in reality, autistic individuals often have exceptional abilities in areas like deep focus, pattern recognition, and heightened sensory perception.
