We don’t have “I voted” stickers here, we just have these: democracy sausage sizzles. Most voting locations are community centres or schools, so they run a bbq to fundraise with the elevated foot traffic.

Good news (or meows, even), Jinx is fine! Waited at the vet for like an hour and a half yesterday just for the vet to do an exam, give him some injections and special food and be like “Idk he’s fine, come back if he gets worse”. He’s back to jumping on the kitchen bench today

In an unsurprising update, things have gone from bad to worse for me specifically as Aus interest rates go up and US interest rates go down 🥲 AUD is the weakest it’s been in over two years lmao
