A bit of post-processing stuff. Sometimes I take several screens with things hidden, unhidden, or moved around. Then take parts of them to put into one final image. Not always, but sometimes !

My last serious cosplay project was Y'Shtola's ShB - End outfit in 2021 and as I'm revisiting progress notes... using googly eyes for metal rivets/studs is still one of my favorite costume hack :p

These literally date back to 2005 - 2006 ( T__T )
Forum/message board signatures made by the poster back in 2005 and 2006. They featured Mika Nakashima as the live action portrayal of Nana Osaki, Setsuka Soul Calibur series, art by Hyung-Tae Kim, Haruko from FLCL, and Renji and Byakua from Bleach. Forum and message board communities were popular places to discuss and meet people with similar interests as you, before the boom of social media.

Cinematic gposing was something l wanted to improve on a few years back and I feel like I've gotten a good grasp at how to capture moments in Wisteria's story ☺️

While both Wisteria and Hiraeth (1.0 WoL) stories are closer tied to my complicated feelings & personal experiences of finding home as a 2nd gen immigrant, Azem!Amethyst is closer tied to me as a Hmong daughter.

Wisteria's body is taken over by Zenos as her real self is in the flesh of a Garlean soldier. Zenos in sits on the snow and looks over to Wisteria, trying to urge onwards to her friends. There are streaks of blood on the snow, as if to divide them. There are red flowers surrounding them, as if caging the moment.

Making progress to this day by day. I'm participating in the arts & craft show again at work next month, so I'll have some of these to sell there ☺️
Embroidery patch of flowers sewn onto a piece of fabric that is held onto an embroidery hoop. Bookcover clipped with binder clips to hold down glued sections. The embroidered flowers are used for the bookcover with some buttons sewn around the flowers. Finished handmade and handbound books displayed with loose buttons decorated around.

Attended the Stardew Valley orchestra concert on Saturday! Hearing Grandpa's theme and the Winter theme live brought tears to my eyes 🥹

End of weekend stuff-- found this cute clock at the thrift store. And, Demi sunbathing 🥰
Ceramic clock with a dragon fly in the middle with the clock hands. There are various bugs and flowers decorated next to each number around the clock. Demi, a grey tabby cat with short hair lays on the carpet right where the sunshine is hitting the ground. She is sunbathing in the warm area.
